bmp Ventures AG invests with IBG funds in the development of silicon electrodes for lithium-ion batteries

Halle (Saale) 10.11.2020 - bmp Ventures AG ("bmp") invests with the IBG venture capital fund III GmbH & Co. KG ("IBG") in the clean tech startup NorcSi. With the expansion of renewable energies and increasing electromobility, the global demand for cost-effective energy storage systems to realize higher ranges is rising. The startup NorcSi wants to solve the challenge with an innovative technology for the cost-effective production of silicon electrodes for future battery generations.
